Cryoconcept was formed in 2000. In March of 2008, Cryomagnetics acquired Cryoconcept. Cryomagnetics was incorporated in 1983.

- Cryogen-Free Dilution Refrigerators
Based on the designs of CEA-Saclay and CNRS, Cryoconcept’s cryogen-free dilution refrigerators utilize proven technology that has the advantage of many years of refinement. Simply stated, there is no other cryogen-free dilution refrigerator as advanced or built as well as Cryoconcept’s on the market today.
- Conventional Dilution Refrigerators
These range from economical 30uW @ 100mK to high power 400uW @ 100mK and above. Special designs for pulsed magnetic field applications (plastic mixing chambers), special sample mount designs (Swedish Rotators), and other special wiring or heat-sinking requirements can be addressed.
- Inverted Dilution Refrigerators
Developed for bolometer research applications, this unique dilution refrigerator features easy access to the large sample area (the sample area is at top). This novel product is the latest in Cryoconcept firsts.
New products are in development and a continuing program of product improvement is in place.
- Superconducting Magnet System Integration
In collaboration with our parent company, Cryomagnetics, we can seamlessly integrate any ultra-low temperature product of Cryoconcept with a superconducting magnet system. With Cryomagnetics’ 25+ year experience, anything from high homogeneity to ultra-high magnetic field technology can be provided. These systems can be conventionally cooled with liquid helium or be liquid cryogen-free.
Cryomagnetics was the first company to commercially manufacture a cryogen-free, low-vibration, 4.2K pulse tube-cooled superconducting magnet system in 1999. As with Cryoconcept, Cryomagnetics has pioneered many innovative products and these products have the advantage of refinement over the years.
Cryoconcept can meet your needs for custom-design low-temperature dilution refrigerators and He3 inserts. One-of-a-kind solutions are our specialty. With Cryoconcept, you do not have to make your experiment work around the limitations of the product. We can make the product fit the requirements of your experiment.
Our advanced manufacturing facility allows for comprehensive testing and verification your ultra-low temperature product meets all specifications. You are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate in final factory tests of your dilution refrigerator or He3 insert.
