Manual and Automatic Gas Handling Systems are available for our 30µW, 100µW, 200µW and 400µW dilution refrigerator systems. Each gas handling system is optimized for pump capacity and speed for efficient operation of your dilution refrigerator. Components of the gas handling system include:
- Rotary root pumps
- Turbomolecular pumps
- Compressors
- Valves (automatic or manual depending on the model of GHS ordered)
- Gauges
- Wiring and plumbing
- All components contained with a high quality framework
Tubing for mixture circulation is located within the GHS framework and is connected by stainless steel dual ring fittings for reliable hermetic seals.

Automated gas handling systems are operated via a programmable controller. This allows operation of the dilution refrigerator from a remote location through your computer’s Ethernet connection and CRYOGRAF software. Following are examples of CRYOGRAF’s user interface:
